Why do I receive e-mails from Fincaloe?

By contacting Fincaloe or purchasing something from our webshop or workshops, you agree to receive promotional messages about our products, services and events. You can unsubscribe at any time by sending us an e-mail.

Can I work at Fincaloe?

All the people involved in Fincaloe are handpicked based on our needs and their knowledge. This means that if we need to increase our staffing, we mainly look in our network. If you are interested in becoming a WWOOFer on our plantation in Spain, send us an e-mail and tell us about yourself.

Do you have free shipping?

Our standard delivery within EU is included in the price, as long as you meet the minimum order value of €45. Should your order be below that amount, a shipping cost of €9.90 will be added. For international orders, a shipping cost of €19.90 is added. The standard / included shipping is not always trackable, and may arrive at a pickup point.

Shipments that exceed a weight of 5 kg or size our shipping providers accept may need to be shipped using a heavy haulage company. For shipments like that, outside of Belgium and Spain, additional shipping costs may need to be calculated. For shipments to islands, additional shipping costs may need to be calculated. Delivery times may be longer for heavy or bulky shipments.

When will I get my order?

This depends very much on the products. 95% of our orders are processed the same day and shipped within 48 hours. The delivery time varies depending on which country you order to. Expect to have your order within 10 days.

Eco bags, apron and t-shirts are shipped directly from a third party distributor.

Why is my promotion code not woking?

  • The code was entered incorrectly
  • The code has expired
  • Your order does not meet the requirements
  • You have already used the code the maximum allowed times
  • You are trying to use a "new customer" code again

Can I pick up my order?

A lot of the products you order in our webshop can be picked up in Belgium. After your order has been paid and processed, you will receive a message with information about when and where you can pick up your order. Contact us before you place your order if you wish to pick it up in Spain.

If your order has not picked up within 4 weeks, it will be canceled and a refund in form of a e-gift card will be processed. No refund on products made to the customer's specification or products which otherwise has been given a clear personalized character.

Can I return my order?

We have a 14 days return policy. Products that can be returned are refunded with an online credit note (e-gift card).

When purchasing products in our webshop you have a 14 day withdrawal period in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. However, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the following kind of products:

(a) Products made to the customer's specification or which otherwise has been given a clear personalized character.
(b) Products with broken seals, due to health protection or hygiene reasons.
(c) Food.
(d) Plants.
(e) Date-specific products like date-set tour tickets and workshop tickets.
(f) Bundled products (unless you're returning everything in the bundle).
(g) Gift cards.
(h) Downloadable products.

If the product is scratched or used then this is classed as a used product, so we cannot offer you a full refund. The customer is responsible for the product during the return shipping. The return shipping cost is covered by the customer.

Products

What's the quality of your products?

The products you buy from Fincaloe are premium. Highest quality, without additives and chemicals.

Why are some leaves brown?

Our entire plantation is open, without a roof. We do our best to harvest evenly across the plantation, but sometimes it happens that a leaf is exposed to sunlight longer than other leaves. The brown at the top is dried leaf, which does not affect the rest of the leaf.

Can I visit you all year round?

Yes, our plantation is open for tours all year round. We may be fully booked, so let us know in advance when you plan to visit us, so we can confirm the day.

What grows when?

On our guided tours you will see Aloe vera plants all year round. Depending on the time of year you visit us, you can see the following:

  • Almonds (Sept - Dec)
  • Avocados (May - Dec)
  • Carob (All year)
  • Grapes (March - June)
  • Mangos (Sept - Dec)
  • Oranges (May - Dec)
